Shanklin has clean beaches and its sheltered bay is ideally suited to numerous water sports, with many more activities such as golf, riding and flying, all within easy reach. Without being over commercialised, you will find a good variety of excellent facilities and entertainments and yet, Shanklin retains much of the old English charm and character, unchanged since the Victorians discovered it's "great natural beauty and agreeable climate".
